JERSEYVILLE, Illinois — If you're trying to make ends meet, one of our viewers named Cindy wants to let everyone know that her church gives free meals on Wednesdays. Cindy of Jerseyville said First Baptist Jerseyville hosts Dinner Church for anyone who wants to grab a meal! Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner will be served at 5:45 p.m. On July 24, the dinner includes a chicken salad fruit plate with a marshmallow creme dip!
Free colon cancer test kits available at drive-thru event
JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WICS) — Free colorectal at-home screening tests will be distributed at a drive-thru event at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. The kits will be distributed from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Aug. 8, in the circle drive at the nonprofit hospital’s main entrance at 1600 W. Walnut St.
