Nursing Program at Chattahoochee Tech Ranked Top in the State
The nursing program at Chattahoochee Technical College has been ranked as Georgia’s top nursing program by RegisteredNursing.org. The Chattahoochee Tech nursing program achieved the state’s 2024 number one ranking with a top score of 98.22. This was followed by the University of North Georgia, scoring 96.53, and Kennesaw State University, scoring 96.47. The other top 20 schools ranked by RegisteredNursing.org included Southeastern Technical College, Georgia College, Reinhardt University and Emory University. ...

Georgia's largest Buc-ee's location is coming real soon.Why it matters: Buc-ee's has cultivated a loyal following of customers as an over-the-top gas station that focuses on snacks, beaver merchandise and clean bathrooms, Axios' Carlie Kollath Wells writes.Driving the news: Savannah Morning News recently reported that Buc-ee's plans to open its Brunswick location on S.R. 99 at its I-95 interchange on June 2, 2025.The 74,000-square-foot location will be more than 20,000 square feet bigger than the Buc-ee's locations along I-75 in Fort Valley and Adairsville, according to the newspaper. WJCL News reports the Buc-ee's will have more than 500 parking spots, 120 gas pumps, and 200 full-time jobs to serve 15,000 cars daily.Zoom out: The company recently opened the world's largest convenience store in Texas between Houston and San Antonio on I-10, writes Axios' Kelly Tyko.
