YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced that a public meeting will be held to unveil the final conceptual plans for the Susquehanna Riverlands State Park.

According to the DNCR, an upcoming public informational meeting will be held to showcase the final conceptual ecological restoration and site improvement considerations for the Susquehanna Riverlands State Park ​.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Eastern York High School Auditorium, located at 720 Cool Creek Road in Wrightsville.

The DNCR says that during the meeting, an overview of the master planning process and the final design concepts for the Susquehanna Riverlands State Park will be presented. Following the presentation, attendees will have a chance to interact with department staff in a smaller group setting.

Prior to this public meeting, the DNCR did the following:

• Presented the preliminary design concepts at a February public information meeting and gathered feedback from the public.
• Held meetings with resource and cultural stakeholders.
• Conducted a public survey to gain feedback about what to consider as part of a master plan for both land conservation and stewardship efforts, as well as recreational opportunities and amenities within Susquehanna Riverlands State Park.
