Perry Township schools begin offering Chin language class

PERRY TOWNSHIP — Perry Township Schools is now offering a Chin language class this year at the high school level.

Perry Township has the largest Burmese population in the US, many of whom are refugees coming to the US under extreme circumstances.

The course is working a bridge the gap between home and school for these students to better communicate.
