BLUFFTON, S.C. (WSAV) – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office reported a robbery at a Best Buy that could have been right out of an action movie.

According to the report, store manager Ryan Becker claimed to have arrived at his shift at the Best Buy on Highway 278 around 7:20 a.m. on Friday, July 5, to find the contents of four security cages missing.

Above the cages was a hole in the ceiling. The report claims that when reviewing security footage, a figure could be seen entering through the hole around “23:52 hours” (11:52 p.m.). The suspect then cut open the security cages, removed the items, and passed them along to an apparent second suspect through the hole.

Among the items removed from the cages were iPads, iPhones, and Apple Watches, totaling over $10,000 worth of material.

The two suspects have yet to be identified.

If you know anything about this crime – call Beaufort County Sheriff’s investigators (252) 946-7111.
