Over 400 Hilton Head residents without power

HILTON HEAD, S.C. (WSAV) – Hundreds of residents of Hilton Head Island are experiencing a major power outage, according to the Palmetto Electric Cooperative (PEC).

The PEC, which services nearly 75,000 residents, announced on X that the outage is affecting 408 of its members on Tuesday.

The cause of the outage is currently unknown.

Crews are currently working to restore power in the area.
