SPD investigates shooting on E. Liberty Street

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Savannah Police Detectives (SPD) are investigating an Aug. 31 shooting in the 600 block of E. Liberty Street that left one adult female with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Officials say around 10 p.m. officers responded to the scene based on a ShotSpotter report.

Upon arrival, officers say they discovered the victim suffering from her wound as well as ballistic damage to several residences in the area. The victim was provided aid and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
