Man arrested with 14 bench warrants, JCSO says

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV)—A man was taken into custody on 14 bench warrants and other charges by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) on Thursday, the JCSO said.

Emanuelle Hargrove Jr., 24, was arrested around noon Thursday in the Firetower Road area, according to a JCSO press release. He had 14 bench warrants for failure to appear and court and was a known fugitive the JCSO said.

The charges against him include assault, attempted murder, discharging firearms into a dwelling, unlawful possession of a pistol and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The JCSO said that Hargrove Jr.’s arrest followed an investigation by their Criminal Investigations Division which worked with the Surveillance Intelligence Unit of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
