SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has responded to an increase in school threats in the aftermath of the Apalachee High School shooting on Wednesday.

According to GBI, most of the threats have been non-credible. Nevertheless, these threats come with repercussions.

As of Friday, at least 18 Georgia counties have already seen investigations into shooter threats:

    • Franklin, investigation
    • Columbia, investigation
    • Forsyth, two arrests
    • Monroe, arrest
    • Bartow, investigation
    • Fulton, investigation
    • Gwinnett, two arrests
    • Pickens, investigation
    • Rockdale, investigation
    • Oconee, investigation
    • Hall, two arrests
    • Jackson, arrest
    • Laurens, investigation
    • Bleckley, investigation
    • Liberty, investigation
    • Toombs, arrest
    • Brooks, arrest
    • Evans, arrest

“If you see or hear a threat, report it to local law enforcement immediately,” the GBI advised. “Notify authorities but don’t share or forward the threat until law enforcement has had a chance to investigate.”

model high School in Floyd county had a threat but I did not see Floyd county on the list of counties that had threats mentioned. I do know that the suspected student that had a kill list was put in in school suspension. what I do not know is whether or not local law enforcement was informed of this particular threat. if the suspected child actually had a kill list, why wasn't this child arrested like the others in the other counties? how would you put someone in ISS if they actually have a list I am told by incredible person that her child actually seen the list. several students seen the list and even reported it to staff members. I think Floyd county board of education is trying to cover this up because they didn't even send an email out to the parents
