Glynn County Police investigating Satilla Shores shooting

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting that took place just before 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The incident happened at a residence on Zellwood Drive, where authorities say one man, 23-year-old Azjhonti Armstrong of Brunswick, was shot in the chest/shoulder area.

Armstrong was transported to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center for treatment, where he is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

In addition to Armstrong, the GCPD says two other men involved in the shooting have been identified and GCPD investigators are conducting additional investigative steps to gather the facts surrounding the incident.

No arrests have been made as of Sunday morning. Investigators believe all three parties involved knew each other, and the shooting was prompted by a disagreement between the parties.
