Garden City to hold car seat installation and inspection

GARDEN CITY, Ga. (WSAV)—The Garden City Police Department (GCPD), Garden City Fire Department (GCFD) and SafeKids Savannah will be holding a car seat installation and inspection event mid-September.

On Wednesday Sept. 18, 2024, you can get your car seat checked out by professionals at Garden City Hall, located at 100 Central Avenue Garden City. They will also be giving away four new car seats to soon to be parents or those in need.

They also said that will have gifts and snacks for the kids and personnel available to help all caregivers with proper installation or checking current setups.

The GCPD said that if you know anyone expecting a child, or anyone who may need assistance, please share or contact them with any questions.
