Pickleball tournament to benefit Camp Sunshine

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — With September being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a Georgia nonprofit and local golf club will be partnering up to have a pickleball tournament that will help kids, and their families cope with the disease.

The second annual event will benefit Camp Sunshine, a Georgia nonprofit that focuses on enriching the lives of children battling cancer through programs in the hospital and in the community. The Savannah Golf Club on President Street will be the hosting the tournament.

The pickleball tournament will take place on Monday, Sept. 16, from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. To register, sign up on the Camp Sunshine website.
