RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WSAV) – Georgia game wardens have cited a Richmond Hill accused of illegally possessing two alligators.

While executing an Aug. 29 search warrant for items related to theft, Richmond Hill Police detectives found two small alligators that had been killed in Bryan County. One alligator had a crossbow bolt through its head while the other had a hook in its mouth.

Both alligators were under the legal size limit in the state of Georgia. The individual who had them also did not have a tag to harvest an alligator legally, officials said.

I've always been taught to run in a zigzag as this slows the speed of the alligator; as they follow your exact path. So I think telling people to run straight, so the alligator is definitely going to catch you.
