Friday Night Blitz 2024 Week 5 scores, highlights

STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV)—It’s the fifth week of Friday Night Blitz! Here’s the rundown of what happened under the Friday night lights this week.

This week we welcome Game of the Week back, and it did not disappoint with Glynn Academy beating Statesboro 21-20. Our Game of the Week started with Statesboro up 6-0 at halftime.

In the second half, Glynn Academy came out firing on offense and scored 21 straight points and held off a late Statesboro comeback to win by one.
