SFD rescue man who jumped into Savannah River

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Savannah Fire Department (SFD) said crews were on River St. Saturday morning rescuing a man who jumped into the Savannah River.

According to the SFD, the man was ultimately found alive near the JW Marriott. SFD Marine crews worked to get the man back to the dock for medical attention.
