Candler Co. Sheriff’s office conducting aerial assessments of Helene damage

CANDLER COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – The Candler County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) wants citizens to know if they see helicopters flying, don’t be alarmed.

CCSO says they are conducting aerial assessments of the damage across the county following Helene. The flights help them evaluate the situation and identify areas where assistance may be needed.

“Your safety and recovery remain our top priority. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we work together to restore our community.” CCSO said in a Facebook post.
