    Canoochee EMC assistant worker injured

    REIDSVILLE, Ga. (WSAV) – A contractor working for a Canadian-based company was injured while helping Canoochee EMC with Helene recovery.

    The organization announced the injury in a post on Facebook.

    “We do not know the severity of the injury, but he has been taken to the hospital. We ask everyone to join us in praying for this lineman and his family.”

    Canoochee EMC covers Bryan, Candler, Chatham, Emanuel, Evans, Liberty, Long, Tattnall and Toombs counties.

    I just want to thank each n everyone that's out there on these dangerous power lines for there time of helping restore the power I'm with neither of these companies but just the same it not a playground out there it's very dangerous God be with this person who was injured hope that they have a speedy recovery n just keep the Faith there's always a better day ahead Trust n your Lord n Savior to see you thru all this I live n Bulloch Co Ga units a mess where I live out here 40 plus pines down couldn't get to my property down the drive way or power lines trees trees n more trees got our half done n a week I'm 66 my husband 80 n we did this ourselves to clean up no help God bless n be with you all
