Braves 2024 post season ends

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — After the Atlanta Braves clinched a spot in the NL Wild Card Series on Oct. 1, their stay postseason was short-lived.

The Braves fell short on Wednesday, 5-4, to the San Deigo Padres in the NL Wild Card Series Game 2. It was a hard fight, but it seems that there were just too many injuries to overcome.

The Braves were the final team to secure their place in the postseason. They defeated the New York Mets, 3-0, in the last game of the regular season and earned the No. 5 seed in the National League.

During the regular season, the Braves finished second in the NL East, at 89-73 with a .549 winning percentage.
