Hardeeville to hold town hall on sales tax referendum

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (WSAV) – The City of Hardeeville will hold a forum to discuss the upcoming sales tax referendum.

This will be held at the Hardeeville Recreational Center located at 285 John Smith Road on Monday, October 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be two sessions available, one from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and another from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

According to the city, this proposed 1% sales tax is aimed at improving roads and protecting sensitive lands and waterways.
