Tybee Island Lighthouse to Host 2nd Annual Halloween Bash

TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) – The Tybee Island Lighthouse is readying to hold its 2nd Annual Halloween Bash.

The event takes place on October 19th, 2024 at 7 p.m. This haunting event promises a night full of festivities.

The Halloween Bash will transform the iconic lighthouse into the perfect backdrop for a night filled with mystery, excitement, and a few spooky surprises. Guests can expect a variety of activities and entertainment, including:

• DJ Dance Party hosted by Master Jaime
• Heavy hors d’oeuvres, provided by the renowned North Beach Bar & Grill
• Eerie games and prizes throughout the night
• Tarot Card Readings by Brigid, offering a glimpse into the unknown
• Best Costume Contest with glittering rewards (costumes are optional but highly encouraged!)

All proceeds will benefit the Tybee Island Historical Society and its ongoing mission to preserve the island’s rich history, including the continued upkeep and restoration of the historic Tybee Island Lighthouse.

“This event is one of our most exciting fundraisers of the year,” said Nicole Thompson, Director of Operations for the Tybee Island Historical Society. “Not only is it a night filled with fun and community spirit, but it also supports our vital efforts to preserve and maintain one of Tybee’s most cherished landmarks.”
