HINESVILLE, Ga. (WSAV) — The Liberty County School System (LCSS) overall high school graduation rate increased from 88.3% in 2019 to 90.4% in 2024, they said.

The State of Georgia publicly released the 2024 graduation rates on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024.

The district’s overall graduation rate increased by over two points compared to the pre-pandemic year 2019. Bradwell Institute’s graduation rate increased by two points compared to last year and they have had a three-and-a-half-point increase in their overall (CCRPI) graduation rate since 2019.

Liberty County High School has maintained an overall graduation rate of higher than 90% since 2019 for all years where CCRPI was reported. Both high schools continue to outperform the state of Georgia rate of 85.40%.

Liberty County students have managed to exceed those rates, LCSS said.

“As Superintendent, I want to thank all of the staff, students, parents, and community members who have worked hard throughout these difficult years,” Franklin Perry, Superintendent of Schools said. “We ask that you continue supporting us as we strive for Excellence in Everything! Our goal remains that all students in Liberty County Schools will graduate with a high-quality education.”
