Georgia Southern to hold True Blue 5K run

STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) – Georgia Southern is holding a 5K run as well as an adventure race to celebrate the upcoming Homecoming weekend.

The True Blue 5K will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19. Race Day registration will only be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Abbie’s Adventure Race which is sponsored by the Abbie DeLoach Foundation is a fun spin on the typical 5K race! The race will have various mental, physical and fun challenges spread throughout while still consisting of a 5K. This race is for anyone looking for a unique and exciting way to participate in Homecoming events!
