Georgia faces a potential must-win game if they want to make it to Atlanta on the first Saturday in December. This week, the face the No. 1 team in the nation, Texas.

This game is probably bigger for Georgia than Texas. The bulldogs already have one loss in SEC play, which came back on Sept. 28 against Alabama.

Texas does not have loss yet in conference play. If Georgia loses on Saturday this could strike a massive blow to their chances of making the SEC championship game. Then, Bulldogs would have to win out and hope they are ranking is in the top 12.

After the Mississippi State, News 3 asked Kirby Smart about the environment on this Saturday.

“I don’t know,” Smart said. “That’s one place I’ve never been. I mean, I’ve been in, but I’ve never been for a game. I’ve been there to meet with our staff, like, years ago. But I don’t know. I mean, I know this SEC environment. I know it’s a, you know, top ten match up. I mean, you’re talking about powerhouse programs. So we’ve  at least we played at Kentucky, which was really hard. We played at Alabama, which was really hard. And so we’ve got some experience in that environment, but it’ll be  it’ll be road environment.”

The game between No. 4 Georgia and No. 1 Texas kicks off Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
