City of Charlotte taking applications for Corridors of Opportunity grant

The city of Charlotte is taking applications for its next Corridors of Opportunity grant.

This time, it’s all about the arts.

City leaders said it is looking to hand out half a million dollars to groups looking to create art and dance studios, galleries, or practice spaces.

The goal is to revitalize underserved communities.

Any group or business can apply here .

this should be good for charlotte, it's not like they're ignoring other areas that need spending, moving toward a better tomorrow

Instead of spending taxpayer funds on infrastructure and they are spending money on this. Yes, the city of Charlotte and the city council is out of touch with the real issues facing our city. Their is no concept of concern or planning for the future of Charlotte.
