    Driver in Spartanburg dies from injuries sustained in single-vehicle crash

    SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol announced that the victim of a single-vehicle collision on August 6 has died.

    According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the vehicle, a 2017 Ford Pickup, was traveling south on Quarter Mile Road, near the intersection of Laurel Hill Drive.

    The driver ran off the lefthand side of the road, where they struck a ditch and trees, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said. The victim was transported to the hospital.

    On August 9, the victim succumbed to their injuries. They have not been identified at this time.
