HSRZ Team Preview: Boiling Springs Bulldogs

BOILING SPRINGS, S.C. (WSPA) – With the high school football season just around the corner, the Boiling Springs Bulldogs are previewed ahead of the August 23 kickoff.

Lincoln Huskey (QB), Javen Chhim (RB), RyShaun Morgan (RB), Kyle Patterson (WR), Eli Mobley (WR), Grayson Crowe (WR), Tristian Johnson (WR), Joshua Wright (DL), Campbell Johnson (LB), Gavin Calhoun (LB), Jeremiah Favorite (CB)

Preview:

The Bulldogs have doubled their win total in each of Matt Reel’s three seasons at the helm and return 14 starters from last year’s four-win team. Leading the way is three-year starting quarterback Lincoln Huskey who will throw to receivers like Eli Mobley, Kyle Patterson, Grayson Crowe and Tristian Johnson, while Javen Chhim and RyShaun Morgan return with three starting linemen on offense.

Joshua Wright is one of the many who returns on the defensive line while TJ Collins and Campbell Johnson return at linebacker and newcomer Gavin Calhoun is expected to be a factor. The Bulldogs lost three starting defensive backs but corner Jeremiah Favorite returns and should make an impact.
