GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – A woman has been charged with attempted murder after an employee was hit by a vehicle leaving a downtown Greenville parking garage.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said Ashleigh Elizabeth Mann was arrested Thursday and booked into the Greenville County Detention Center.

Troopers said on May 23, Mann was leaving the Church Street Garage adjacent to Bon Secours Wellness Arena when she allegedly struck a parking attendant.

The parking attendant was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Mann is currently in custody where she awaits a bond hearing Friday according to troopers.

The crash remains under investigation by the SCHP.
