Officials searching for missing, endangered Anderson Co. woman

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Officials with the Anderson County Sheriff’s office are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman last seen Monday afternoon.

According to the sheriff’s office, Christina Young was last seen at around 4 p.m. in the area Parnell Road in Anderson.

Deputies said it is unknown what Young was wearing at the time of her disappearance. It is also unclear if Young was with anyone.

Officials added that Young did leave a note behind referring to self-harm.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Christina Young is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (864) 260-4400, and use the reference case number 2024-10783.
