Body found in Greenville Co. woods

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A body was found in a wooded area in Greenville County Tuesday afternoon.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said the body was found at the wood line around the end of Fairmont Avenue near South Pleasantburg Drive and Interstate 85.

Deputies received a 911 call just before 2:30 p.m. about the body.

No other details have been released at this time.
