HSRZ Preview: T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets

ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – With high school football just around the corner, the Hanna Yellow Jackets are previewed ahead of the 2024 season which kicks off on August 23.

Hanna Yellow Jackets:

2023 record: 10-2, 4-0

Head Coach: Jason Tone, 6th season

Key Returners:

Brandon Cunningham (QB), KD Patterson (RB), Matt Boseman (RB), Walker Kelley (WR), Jayden Martin (DL), Shondriques Vance (S), Cam Strong (CB)

Key Losses:

Lost 39 seniors

Preview:

The Jackets said goodbye to 39 seniors from a third straight 10-2 season but they return their star in running back KD Patterson who had 1,700 yards and 25 touchdowns last season. Quarterback Brandon Cunningham is the other returning starter on offense, so many will need to step up.

Of note, Hanna will be playing in the lower 5A bracket.
