ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A drug trafficking investigation is underway Tuesday after a woman and her daughter were found in their home with over 100 grams of methamphetamine.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said the Narcotics Investigations Unit found Angelina Harrison in her driveway on Whitehall Road in possession of methamphetamine.

While searching Harrison’s home, law enforcement uncovered 18 grams of the drug in her bedroom. Officials continued to search through the home and found 55 grams of meth in her daughter’s room.

Deputies said the suspect’s daughter, Marlie Harrison, was attempting to hide the drugs when authorities entered the room.

The sheriff’s office reported that more than 100 grams of methamphetamine was collected during the search along with a firearm that had been reported stolen.

Both individuals were apprehended and are facing trafficking charges according to deputies.
