    Spartanburg man arrested with nearly 150 grams of fentanyl

    SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Spartanburg County Narcotics Unit arrested a man after reportedly finding drugs, including close to 150 grams of fentanyl, in his possession.

    The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said 41-year-old Lamar Antonia Graves was the target of a narcotics investigation Thursday.

    According to reports, the county’s narcotics unit executed a search warrant at a home on Greenlea Street in Spartanburg to find 92 grams of cocaine, 147 grams of fentanyl and a pill press.

    Graves was on home detention for domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, burglary in the first degree and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime at the time of his arrest.

    Graves was arrested and charged with the following:

    • Trafficking cocaine 28 grams – 100 grams
    • Trafficking fentanyl 28 grams or more
    • Possession with intent to distribute within ½ mile of a school or park (cocaine)
    • Possession with intent to distribute within ½ mile of a school or park (fentanyl)
    • Possession of ammunition by convicted felon
    • Violent crime by person on bond for violent crime
