Easley teen flown to hospital with severe burns

EASLEY, S.C. (WSPA) – A 15-year-old was flown to the hospital after being severely burned late Monday afternoon in Easley.

Police and firefighters responded to an apartment complex on Wallace Drive around 6:20 p.m. after receiving a 911 call about a juvenile with burns.

The 15-year-old was flown to the hospital with severe injuries to his upper body, according to Easley Police.

Officers said the teen was cooking at the time of the injury.

The Easley Police Department and Easley Fire Department are investigating.

The teen’s condition is not known at this time.
