    Cherokee Co. deputies searching for missing person

    CHEROKEE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Deputies with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office are searching for missing 25-year-old Carlik Marquis Gill, who was last seen on Sunday.

    According to deputies, Gill was last seen after leaving his home at around 3:30 a.m. and was walking on Blacksburg Highway, in Blacksburg, in the direction of Interstate 85.

    Investigators stated that they have been searching the immediate area with drones and bloodhounds with no success.

    Investigators ask property owners in the area to check their video cameras for any possibly sightings, along with checking outbuildings and barns for the missing person.

    Anyone with information on Gill is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Captain Parnell, at 864-489-4722 extension 117.
