    Pedestrian killed in Greenville County hit and run

    GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The State Highway Patrol is investigating a hit and run which killed one person in Greenville County early Sunday morning.

    According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, officers with highway patrol and the coroner’s office were called to 1706 White Horse Road after a pedestrian was hit. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

    According to highway patrol, the pedestrian was attempting to cross White Horse Road at around 3 a.m. when they were hit by an unknown vehicle, which left the scene.

    The pedestrian’s identity has not been released.

    The wreck remains under investigation by the highway patrol and coroner’s office.
