    Woman found fatally shot at Greenville Co. car crash

    GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a woman found at the scene of a car crash.

    According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called to Valentine Street for reports of shots fired from a vehicle around 2:40 p.m. Monday. When they arrived at the scene, they found a red Kia that crashed into a fence in the front yard of a home. The woman was found dead outside of the car. She has identified as 46-year-old Michez Janita Fowler.

    The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said Fowler had at least one gunshot wound. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

    The case is being investigated as a homicide.
