    Body of missing man found in Cherokee Co. farm pond

    CHEROKEE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — The body of a Cherokee County man reported missing in late August was found in a Blacksburg pond Monday night.

    According to the Cherokee County Coroner’s Office, the body of Carlik Marquis Gill was discovered laying face down in 18 inches of water around 5:30 p.m. behind a home on Turner Road.

    Coroner Dennis Fowler said a neighbor found the body. Reports state Gill was found wearing only boxer shorts.

    7NEWS previously reported Gill missing on August 31 after officials said the 25-year-old left home on foot around 3:30 a.m.

    The cause and manner of death is being investigated by the Cherokee County Coroner’s Office. Check back with 7NEWS on-air and online as more details become available.

    prayers for All families who have lost a loved one prayers for the family of this loved one yeah we need to pray for the world in general things are getting so bad and out of hand Christians need to stand and hold hands and pray worldwide
