ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – An 18-year-old is facing many charges in reference to threatening five Anderson County high school students via Snapchat.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said Cameron Lamar Suttle has been charged with five counts of unlawful communication after threatening to shoot a group of Pendleton High School students.

Suttle does not attend Pendleton High School according to officials.

An investigation was initiated on Sunday, September 8. Deputies said Suttle reportedly posed with different kinds of guns over the app while tying it with a threatening message.

It was reported that Suttle threatened two 15-year-olds, two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old.

All threats were made towards the specific students and not the school as a whole, deputies said.

Suttle was booked into the Anderson County Detention Center where he has received a bond on all warrants according to deputies.

The incident remains under investigation by the ACSO.
