    Student arrested for threats toward Upstate high school

    ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Another student has been arrested Thursday for reportedly threatening an Upstate high school.

    Anderson School District Three confirmed with 7NEWS that a Crescent High School student was arrested in connection with recent hoax threats.

    “At Anderson 3, we remain committed to treating all threats with the utmost seriousness,” Superintendent Kathy Hipp said.

    “We ask parents to continue discussing the gravity of these situations with their students and encourage them to share any information that may arise with school officials or law enforcement.”

    The investigation was conducted by the Iva Police Department, Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and SC Law Enforcement Division.
