HSRZ: Week 4 Plays of the Week

(WSPA) – Another week of high school football action has come and gone with no shortage of amazing plays from Upstate athletes.

You can catch a full recap of the action and a look ahead to Friday night matchups on the High School Red Zone Review Preview show every Thursday at 8 p.m.

For a quick look back on some of the excitement Week 4 had to offer, check out the Plays of the Week below:

PLAY #5: WESTSIDE RAMS

Westside quarterback and South Carolina commit Cutter Woods delivers a beautiful pass to Dreson Evans who made an acrobatic move to come down with the catch in the team’s 55-14 win over BHP.

PLAY #4: GAFFNEY INDIANS

Gaffney DE Josh Corry blew past the line to lay a massive hit on the Freedom quarterback on the way to a 31-0 shutout.

PLAY #3: POLK COUNTY WOLVERINES

This one was a little different. Polk County’s Donte Tingling’s fumble goes unnoticed until teammate Simon Moore spots the ball behind the pile and quickly jumps on top to avoid a Wolverine turnover.

PLAY #2: GAFFNEY INDIANS

The big hits continued in Gaffney with Zyon Ratchford delivering the blow along the sideline as the Indians improved to 3-0.

PLAY #1: WESTSIDE RAMS

All three phases of the game were in effect during Westside’s win over BHP, demonstrated by a juggling pick-six returned by the Rams’ Armoni Weaver.
