Body found in Spartanburg County well

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office responded to McSwain Road on Sunday, where a body had been discovered in a well.

The decedent was identified as 22-year-old Andrew Gazdovich of Inman.

Coroners said a forensic autopsy was ordered on Monday and will require more testing before the cause of death can be identified.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is searching for potential witnesses who are avoiding them, according to the coroner.

Deputies said that the recovered evidence does not suggest foul play.
