Spartanburg, S.C. (WSPA) – St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church is getting ready for a big weekend celebrating the Greek Festival from September 20 to 22.

It’s a big job getting everything ready this week chopping potatoes and making pastries. The team of staff and volunteers will begin making all the entrees on Friday.

Attendees should plan to dine at the Greek Fest at a table indoors or outdoors. Deliveries will be made through Hub City delivery or orders can be taken to go. There is no drive-thru.

There will also be dance performances, a bookstore, a Greek market and a pastry shop.

Guests can also sign up for a church tour at the festival. There are scheduled times on the website for tour groups.

There will be a shuttle service offered from Gibbs Stadium at Wofford College.

    Admission is $2 on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Money from tips and admission goes to Mobile Meals of Spartanburg.
