GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – A Downtown Greenville restaurant announced Monday that the establishment will no longer be in business.

The Bellwether Public House posted on its Facebook page that the restaurant ceased operations on September 23. The restaurant did not share its reasoning for closure but stated the following:

“We appreciate the service of our hardworking employees and the patronage of our loyal customers and cannot thank them enough for their support for the past year and a half since opening.”

The restaurant mentioned that the company is currently working with employees on finding new jobs with some being offered positions at its sister restaurant Urban Wren.

The company mentioned that the Urban Wren remains in service at 116 North Markley Street.
