SCHSL denies appeal of suspended Gaffney QB

(WSPA) – The South Carolina High School League Executive Committee denied the appeal of Gaffney High School quarterback Jayvon Gilmore Wednesday by an 8-5 vote, upholding a two game suspension for an incident last Friday against Boiling Springs.

The school will appeal to the league’s appellate panel. When that happens was not known as of Wednesday afternoon.

Gilmore currently has to sit out this Friday’s game against Spartanburg as well as the following week against Eastside.

I was there and this young man didn't do anything wrong he ran to the side line and BS player jumped all around him he was hit late and there was no call for that on BS
