Man dies days after Spartanburg Co. crash

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A man died in the hospital Monday afternoon, almost a week after getting into a crash near Spartanburg city limits.

According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred September 19 on the crossroads of West Fremont Avenue and Howard Street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Noah Alexander Schlitt, 25, of Spartanburg. Schlitt died around 4:55 p.m. on Tuesday at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Officials said that the Spartanburg Police Department is investigating the crash.
