SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – Due to demand, Spartanburg Water offered a drive-through water fill station Thursday.

The water fill station was located at the Collection & Distribution Complex at 301 South Avenue, Spartanburg.

The station was accessible using the South Entrance to the complex and visitors were asked to bring their own container.

This oasis was available for anyone who needed it, not just Spartanburg Water customers.

This included first responders in the area that need to fill up, utility workers, lineman or people at home without electricity.

“If you have a well and you’re without power, mostly you’re not gonna have water, you would have wanted to do anything. It’s gonna be really difficult so we have a water oasis here.” said Jennifer Candler with Spartanburg Water.
