    Henderson Co. remains in State of Emergency; resource hubs

    HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – Henderson County continues to remain in a State of Emergency and the curfew has been changed, now from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

    Residents who are in need of water, food and other supplies, two Resource Hub locations will be open on Monday Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.:

    • Etowah Elementary , 320 Etowah School Road in Etowah
    • Mills River Town Hall , 124 Town Center Drive in Mills River

    Each family unit will be provided supplies for one day’s meal and water as it is available. Individuals are asked to enter the drive-through and remain in their cars unless instructed otherwise.

    Two local churches will also provide community distribution lines this week:

    • Ebeneezer Baptist Church , 2557 Chimney Rock Road, in Hendersonville.
      • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday
    • First Baptist Church , Hendersonville 312 5th Avenue West, in Hendersonville.
      • 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday
      • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday

    Debris Tech is continuing to hire Hurricane Debris Collection Monitors to support recovery efforts in Henderson County.
