    Greenville County man charged with murder

    GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A Greenville County man has been charged with murder in connection with a shooting which took place over the weekend.

    According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, investigators has arrested Zachary Ray Pridemore, 20, on charges of murder, assault, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

    Early Sunday morning, deputies were called to a scene on Geer Highway in reference to a shooting. At the scene deputies located two men suffering from gunshot wounds, including Kaylon Reid Culbertson, 21, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

    Investigators said on the morning of the shooting, Pridemore got into an argument with two acquaintances in a vehicle on the road just after leaving 6600 Geer Highway.

    During the course of the argument, Pridemore allegedly drew a gun and fire multiple times, hitting both acquaintances at least once, and killing Culbertson.

    Pridemore was taken to the hospital due to injuries he sustained, and was later arrested and charged.

    Pridemore is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center where he is being held on no bond.

    When you shoot and kill someone it needs to be an automatic life or death sentence. Unless it was someway self defense. This is crazy all of these shootings.
