Man accused of cutting brother’s face in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A man has been arrested for allegedly cutting his brother’s face in Anderson County.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office charged 35-year-old Jacob Brown with assault & battery first-degree following an argument with his brother.

According to deputies, a disagreement between the brothers at a residence along Hillman Drive resulted in Brown reportedly approaching his sibling with a knife and box cutter and then cutting him across the face.

In defense, Brown’s brother grabbed a baseball bat, deputies said.

Brown fled the home and was later captured by authorities without incident.

He remains in custody at the Anderson County Detention Center according to the sheriff’s office.
