    One killed in Oconee County wreck

    OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A Seneca man has died after his vehicle went off the road early Saturday morning.

    According to the state highway patrol and Oconee County Coroner’s Office, Daniel Calvin Eller, 31, was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus on Richland Road when he went off the side of the road, down an embankment and hit a wooden fence.

    Eller was pronounced dead at the scene.

    The coroner’s office said the crash is believed to have happened between midnight and 2 a.m. Saturday, but was not discovered until around 7 a.m. by staff at the Oconee County Country Club.

    The wreck remains under investigation.

    Alot of single vehicle accident deaths in Oconee. Always has been. Usually by someone who thinks they are a great driver. Obviously not.
